JOB PURPOSE:-

Responsible for Region’s business growth, expansion of branch network. Initiatives for successful service delivery and fulfillment of Bank’s overall strategy within the SBP framework and Bank’s policy guidelines.

Description

Business Development & Monitoring Function:

  • To achieve business goals / targets as agreed with business plan.
  • To formulate & implement strategies for overall achievement of Deposits, Retail Lending & trade, Consumer Assets and Wealth Management targets specifically assigned to the region.
  • To assist Business Managers in formulating business plans and implementing them effectively.
  • To conduct regular Business Review Meetings and ensure regular interaction with Area & Branch Managers for providing guidance as & when needed. Branch visits on random basis to interact and motivate the field force.
  • To ensure high quality of lending portfolio.  
  • To promote extensive sales of new & existing products of the Bank through assigned branch network.
  • To strategize & implement expansion of delivery channels through Annual Expansion plan.
  • To liaise with Operations for smooth branch functions.   
People Management:*

  • Lead the team by setting individual objectives, reviewing performance/appraisals and providing on-going feedback on a formal & informal basis so that all staff remain aware of what they are required to achieve and how they are performing against their objectives.
  • Identify training & development needs of the people & ensure their capacity development.
  • Hiring talent & identifying the right resource within the team for the right job.
  • To enhance employee productivity through motivation and team play.
 
Risk Management & Compliance:

  • To monitor and evaluate the adherence of bank’s policies governing risk and compliance, identify actual or potential shortfalls and deploy resources to improve performance.

Customer Service:-

  • Contribute to the development of global customer service standards and define, set and monitor objectives to enable their implementation in assigned region.
  • To ensure resolution of customer complaints & queries within acceptable timelines.
  • Coordination with support functions to ensure customer satisfaction.
Financial Management:*

  • Set, agree and control operational budgets for the region and propose capital expenditure / investments to ensure objectives are achieved in line with HBL goals.

Policy & Process development:-

  • Contribute to the development of processes and lead the implementation of systems and process improvements in the assigned region.
 
Qualifications
 
Minimum qualifications:

  • Post graduate / MBA
Minimum experience:

  • 8 – 10 years of banking / sales experience

Work Locations: 7022-Regional Headquarter Sialkot RHQ - Paris Road   Sialkot
