Job Purpose:

We are looking for someone who has the ability to develop product ideas and convert them into tangible results to grow digital content services. The individual should have sound business analysis, product development, project management, people management, and relationship management skills; these skills are the cornerstone for this job role.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Understanding of the role of traditional VAS in changing telecom technology landscape.
  • Knowledge of different mobile business models across different digital content verticals such as video, music, gaming etc.
  • Ability to identify market gaps and unmet consumer needs and to build strong product experiences leveraging telecom infrastructure and partner strengths.
  • Ability to build business models, write products papers aligned with department & company objectives and then implement it with the help of right partner selection.
  • Build customized product experiences based on customer handset technology, pocket size and tech literacy.
  • Responsible for end to end management including conceptualization, planning, business case development, pricing, forecast/capacity scoping, vendor selection, implementation and operations of assigned projects. Additionally responsible for customer lifecycle management (w.r.t. VAS services) & product lifecycle management.
  • Work with internal & external stakeholders for improving existing systems, processes & SOPs to enhance revenue & customer experience on assigned products & services.
  • Understanding of Telecom systems & processes w.r.t. platforms, channels, charging models, content management & dealings with local & international VAS vendors.
  • Ability to set product targets and identify KPIs that will help track the achievement of those targets.
  • Ability to build product performance reports and dashboards using different analytical tools to track daily KPI performance.
  • Ability to analyze different data sets to identify business growth opportunities through pricing, new feature development, new channel development, promotional campaigns and product partnerships.
  • Demonstrated the ability to learn conventional and new tools for business modeling, data visualization, and digital analytics.
  • Ability to communicate product performance, growth strategy, campaign analysis, business challenges and opportunities through well thought out and structured presentations.
  • Ability to showcase product performance and achievements to other marketing teams and to executive management.
  • Managing alliances with national & international content service providers

Eligibility Criteria (Education, Knowledge, Experience and Skills):


Bachelors or Master’s degree in Business/Economics/Engineering or equivalent from a reputed institute (Masters level degree will be preferred)

Work Experience:

3 - 5 years of relevant experience in Digital/Content Product Management

Skills – Job Specific:

  • Ability to build strong relationships with vendors and partners
  • Ability to build strong relationships with Internal Teams: Finance, Marketing, Tech, Sales, PD, Legal
  • Knowledge of mobile business models across different digital content verticals such as video, music, gaming etc.
  • Experience managing business analytics & reporting of product portfolio.
  • Has been involved in working with digital marketing teams to ensure user engagement and retention
  • Possesses excellent project management, communication, cross-functional team management and leadership skills
  • Passionate about digital content services and has a thorough understanding of local and global digital landscape
  • Has worked with app management, marketing and analytics platforms like Firebase, Appsflyer, Google Analytics, Ad Platforms, Big Query, Microsoft Office and Power BI.
